Poo picking, fence putting back up, battening down hatches, feed store, picking up some super items donated by Gerry King, office work, posting, promo work, poo picking, sorting rugs for deluge ahead, rugging, feeding, home. Just a typical day. Nice day though, windy but mostly dry here, ground is ready for the water ahead, itll soak it up. We watched the ponies a bit today, nice to see them playing and falling out, much squealling and posturing ( mostly Fred and Anton) and smashing to see the two old lads come to call this evening at steady canters with Eric galloping alongside to keep up with them :D Its times like this that reinforce the decision to keep them ticking along, they are well, they are as winter ready as they can be and they are enjoying their old lives. This evening they are in their slightly heavier water and wind proofs - as is Teddy. I know that they wont stand in the barn if the wind is howling but they have other options down the field where the big thick holly hedge knocks off all the weather from the North West.Lets hope the forecasters have been a bit hasty in their predictions...Im not keen on getting the waterworld of last year back yet a while.
