Pool League Lets just go ahead and call it the St. Patricks Day Massacre. I, for the third time, played that nice lady who spoiled my return to organized pool last September. As you may recall, she greeted my return with a 3 game ass-whipping, re-enacted that ass-whipping several weeks later in the rematch, with another 3 game win. I did manage to win one game in that rematch. Last night, however, was a whole different ball game. This had become, as the old saying goes, a monkey on my back, and I was sick and tired of hauling that monkey around. I managed to prevail 3 games to 1, and found out this nice lady was just as gracious in defeat as in victory. An experience like this is why I play this game.
