Poor Avery was burned. Only a few months old and she has suffered so much in that short time. Fortunately she is a resilient and loving girl who just wants a chance to start over. She is arriving next week. We would love to have a wonderful family waiting to adopt her who would show her how good life could be... Avery is a sweet 4 month old girl who has had a terrible start in life. She is now recovering from someone trying to burn her on her back, which can be seen in the pictures. A kind person took her away from the cruel individual that was doing this to her, and brought her to a local vet. This picture was taken several weeks after the incident, and her hair s finally starting to come back. Avery also was skin and bones when she arrived at the vet clinic, but has also started to put on some weight. Nobody wanted Avery so the vet was getting ready to call the high kill animal control to pick her up, and she most likely would have been put down. This is a very rural area, and there are so many dogs walking the roads with no homes, that a pup like Avery does not have a chance. Lucky for Avery that a person who helps the vet with strays that are brought into his clinic, saw Avery, and knew that 11th Hour would help her find a forever home. Avery is now in a foster home till she leaves for her trip to 11th Hour. Avery is a great pup who loves people, gets along with other dogs, and is learning to walk on a leash. Avery has a beautiful brindle coat and is very loving despite what happened to her. She will also be spayed and fully vetted before her trip to 11th Hour. Please give this girl a chance to have a life with a family that will love her, and fill out an application on Avery today.
