Poor Lys had a bloody stool again. I will call GI tomorrow. Looks like we will be scoping again real soon. I guess i forgot to update the other day. We talked with the doctor after getting lab result and her hemoglobin was 9.1 and her ilues has seemed to resolved. We talked about scheduling another colonoscopy to see how her ulcers look now if the bleeding contimues. And see if another set of hemoclips will hold off the bleeding for a couple of more months. But the fact that the bleeding has recurred not even 4 months after clipping the ulcers is not good. Dr. Van Buren orinally said yesterday that she wants to just watch and see how she does, if she can have these couple of days of bleeding here and ther that resolve themselves, but then again doesnt want to risk a big bleed, we want to avoid that. She doesnt yet know she had another bloody stool tonight. Even without knowing that she is looking into putting a date in the books for surgery to remove that section of bowel. Just schedule it, so its there if we need it, because it can be hard get surgery scheduled with short notice. If it comes to that date and shes doing great then we will cancel just like we did last month. I really hate for her to have to go through yet another surgery right now. She is eating so well and drinking the formula good too. A whole 8oz pediasure with in 3 hours the other day ;) About to start tball, her first practice is Friday and we are about to start homeschool preschool on Monday, with lots of fun activities and field trips planned.
