The most compelling feature of those notes is the open, infected fracture of her left front leg which has left her with exposed bone, and which has prompted the ACC to recommend that she have that leg amputated; can you imagine how painful that must be for Helen? She also shows a healed fracture of her right hind leg, shes thin as a dime, and she has a few other issues that should be looked at by a competent vet. Helen is more than the mere summation of her medical notes; she is watchful and restrained when people interact with her, which is fantastic considering how she must be feeling right now. Please help Helen find a compassionate person who will work with a rescue group to get her the care she needs. Tonight is going to be her ONLY chance for a nice life, and tomorrow is but a few short hours away.....
