“Poori umra gujar jati hai, Eik Ashiyan Banane mein… Tumhe sharm nahi aati Bastiyan Jalane mein” Yesterday Bargarh administration broke down a Basti behind the Sadar Police Station where about 50 families were living since past over 40 years. They are mostly labor class, tribals and there was even one EX-ARMY person ! They said the compensatory land permanent records were given 15 years back but never got demarcated running after the tehsildars, RIs, Collector & subcollectors. Those elected members after election never showed up to even sympathise or listen to them. The place where they were given plots doesnt have road, water, electricity, school, and is about 5 kilometers away from the place where they had been living. The SP later visited the place and was very happy to see the Govt. Land being cleared. I was ADVISED by SDPO Rana why you are present for the length. As a news person, you should shoot a bit,take byte and disperse. The people are getting provoked by seeing camera. You move out immediately out of the area. Thank you MR.
