Popcorn Theology for Mature Audiences is a UU curriculum that was designed to give UUs with more life experience the chance to reflect upon theological and ethical issues wrapped in the cloak of feature films. Each session will have an opening activity, a screening of the movie (with popcorn!), a time for reflection, a processing exercise, and a closing activity. This Saturday night, January 18, at 6:30pm, we will begin Unit One of Popcorn Theology, “Identity and Intimacy”, with a session titled You Are Your Friends, using the movie The Breakfast Club. Activities will begin in the Choir Room at 6:30pm. The movie is 97 minutes, and the entire workshop will be approximately 3 hours. Please be on time if you wish to join us!
