Pope Paul VI .... I believe I have always been Catholic, but my parents who were not Catholic went to Rome when I was in the 4th grade. I always had a special devotion to our Blessed Virgin Mary. They bought me the gold Madonna ... Then stood in the rain and had it blessed by Pope Paul VI ! They also got a smaller one for my older cousin who was babysitting me. Living in Alabama and not really knowing any Catholics.... my cousin and I eventually became the only 2 Catholic converts in our family. I still wear it daily along with the Miraculous Medal that , literally, fell off a top shelf and landed right on my shoe.... 3 days after the end of The Gregorian Masses (30 days of daily Masses for someone who has passed) for Als mother. Al said, He had not seen his mothers medal since he was a child! .... I feel like both of these were gifts .... TRUE GIFTS! Also I have always been Pro-Life... I find it so interesting that way before I knew anything about Catholics (other than myths I had been told) and Pope Paul VI also wrote Humanae Vitae !!!!if you havent read it... Look it up! It is his Encyclical , basically on the regulation of birth (human life).....
