Poptart seems to be slightly better today. I was up all night with her, and still havent slept. I cleaned up blood all night long. She had 10+ bloody (frank blood) bowel movements... that were basically drippy blood. No huge amounts though. Vomiting has calmed down and she is peeing well. She was so lethargic last night she scared me, but is a little brighter today, and is shaking/shivering a lot less. She isnt drinking as much this morning, which concerns me a little - but, Im not pushing her. The vet said last night to bring her back today if the vomiting continued - but, she is doing much better with that. So, I guess I just keep watching and worrying - and hope the Flagyl helps her get over whatever this is. Apparently, she was given some leftover ham the other night, while I was working - which may have caused this. Im guilty of feeding her some scraps - but, try to stay away from pork. Always heard it was hard for them to digest. I dont know. No more people food for our girl! Thanks for the prayers and love being sent our way. I can not imagine losing another dog so soon after the others... and, cant bear the thought of losing my Pop! We love her so much! ❤❤❤
