Porch sat for a bit this evening, couldnt help but think about the changes of the surrounding landscape over the decades.. as a youngster, playing football in the front with my cousins,churning ice cream in the back yard, taking turns push mowing this big assed yard with Phyllis and Judy, Daddy gathering the afternoon paper that Jake Landers threw out at a high rate of speed, and reading it under the big oak tree in the back..In later years, my own children playing football in the same yard.., a young lady sneaking out to Grans.. the oak tree is gone, like the afternoon paper, and my Mother and Daddy. I love my memories of happy days, like Mother did.
