Portage Glacier sits about a hours drive south of Anchorage, Alaska. The melting of Portage Glacier created this lake (known as Portage Lake) . This image was taken a few minutes before sunrise to capture the reflections on the mountains on the lake. Icebergs (in the distance in this image) vary in size and are often close and large.
