Portland voters will vote on an initiative that would strip the Bureau of Environmental Services and the Water Bureau from the City of Portland and place them under a new water board. APANO and a grassroots coalition of communities of color and conservation groups oppose this measure and urge you to VOTE NO. The initiative would transfer $15 billion in public assets, including control of the Bull Run water supply, to an unproven board with no water or sewer experience, and susceptible to corporate influence.
