I love Shrimp Mozambique, and it is VERY easy to make, not the cheapest, but it is so worth it! The smells that fill your home while cooking this meal are amazing!! Ingredients needed: 1-2 lb. bag of Medium, or Large Shrimp 1 full clove of garlic 1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter 4 packs of Sazon Goya Spice (little orange box in ethnic food section) 8 oz of white wine, or beer fresh parsley (optional) 1 lemon wedge white rice, or fries Frank’s Red Hot Directions: Place shrimp in a bowl, and pat dry any excess moisture. In a large stock pan place your butter in to melt on medium heat. Once the butter is melted place the chopped garlic in Sautee the Garlic in the butter Place the shrimp in the pan with the sauteed garlic, and then add the 8oz of wine or beer. Add Goya Seasoning, squeeze of lemon juice, parsley, and Frank’s Red Hot-(add as much heat as you like) Cook for 10 mins on medium heat, or until shrimp are all orange in color-simmer on low. This is best served with white rice, fries and a Portuguese roll to dip in the shrimp’s sauce.
