Position 1: LAN Administrator (MCSE Certified/ CCNA Wireless Certified): Responsibilities: Install, configure, and support an organizations local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Maintain network hardware and software. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. May supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures. Position 2: (TELEPHONE AND DATA) TECHNICIAN: CCIE Certified Responsibilities: · Analyze, design, test, install, document, implement and support of the global converged network. Primary domain of expertise will be Cisco ASA for firewall and SSL VPN projects. · Define and create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). · Develop and create network capacity plans. · Considers and recommends new technology needs and solutions for anticipated needs of business. · Develop technical solutions documents as well as documents that describe solution to business people. Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions. · Prepare and maintain up to date documentation for internal and external customers detailing configuration of deployed solutions. · Leads problem resolution activities and root cause reviews and analysis. Lead domain areas for firewall, VPN, and external aggregation layers. · Develops high level project timelines and do resource estimates. Develops product refresh schedules. Consistently delivers on assignments. Required Skills/Experience: · Bachelor’s degree and preferably current CCIE certification · Ideal candidate should have at least eight years’ experience in routing and switching. · Comprehensive hands on experience with LAN/WAN/MAN technologies. · Comprehensive hands on experience with Cisco ISR routers, Cisco ASA security devices, and Cisco Nexus. · Comprehensive hands on experience with BGP and OSPF. · Strong working knowledge of security related technologies such as Two Factor Authentication, RADIUS, TACACS, RSA, 802.1X, or NAC. · Strong analytical and organizational skills, with passionate attention to detail. · Ability to multi-task, prioritizing multiple objectives and initiatives. · A desire and ease in establishing credibility with fellow engineers through mutually deep technical skill sets. · Communicate with managers throughout IT Infrastructure. Ability to make presentations to managers and/or other engineers. · Excellent problem solving skills. Able to take complex tasks or problems and break it into smaller more manageable pieces. Works with vendors to resolve issues. Feels comfortable working with customers and gathering requirements · Strong cross team relationships and has relationships in other domains. Strong collaboration skills. · Strong persuasive skills and ability to influence decision making. Position 3: OSP TECHNICAIN Required Skills/Experience The Inside and Outside Cable Plant Technician will perform inside and outside cable plant installation functions Responsibilities: · The ISP/OSP Technician shall support installation, integration, testing, removal, and maintenance of aerial, underground, and buried multi-purpose communications cable to include coaxial and fiber optic cable. · Work in manholes and conduit ducting systems. · Pull, and test fiber optic, copper, and coaxial cabling · Terminate, splice, test, maintain, and repair fiber optic (including fusion splicing), copper, and coaxial cabling. · Install interior fiber, copper, and coaxial cabling. · Carry out day to day processes within the communications infrastructure to include the pulling, testing, toning, labeling, troubleshooting, and repairing inside and outside plant wiring. · Accurately test copper and fiber (multimode and single mode) cables to required certification parameters utilizing appropriate test equipment. · Diagnose and correct copper and optical fiber problems. · Install, upgrade, replace, maintain, relocate, and remove all terminal boards, cross connect boxes, fiber optic couplers, and fiber media converters. Required Skills/Experience: · High school diploma and technical training equivalent to a technical associate’s degree · Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operation and maintenance of commercial telecommunications equipment · Extensive knowledge of inside and outside cable plant infrastructure, engineering, installation, and testing · Ability to work with minimal supervision · Experience in installation and maintenance using telecommunications industry standards-based cabling distribution systems · Familiarity with referencing current TIA/EIA/One-Net standards
