Position Available - Food and Beverage Manager - Peregrine Farm Stall Nestled in apple country in the ELGIN VALLEY, Peregrine is the Western Cape’s original farm stall. Established in the 1960s, we are known for our fresh farm produce and warm country hospitality. Join our team, and lead our motivated and professional staff to continue our promise to provide customers with old-fashioned quality and a wholesome family experience. Key management responsibilities will include: staff and team supervision, building staff effectiveness for the restaurant, deli and farm stall; inventory control and production of quality goods and service in a safe and hygienic environment; expenditure and budget reporting and control. The ideal candidate will have at least a National Diploma in the hospitality trade, and 3-5 years’ experience as a Food and Beverage manager within a large restaurant or hotel environment. Technical requirements: a superior knowledge of food and beverage products, HSSE and labour legislation, and competency in computerize inventory control systems. In addition, you will need to be a natural team leader with an interest in developing and assisting others to succeed. You need to have good customer service orientation, and excellent planning and organizing abilities, supported by strong communication skills, interpersonal sensitivity and attention to detail. An ability to sustain high energy levels and work under pressure will help you excel in this job. We offer a competitive remuneration package based on your level of qualification and experience.
