Venue Coalition provides its arena members with a variety of services including event booking and the collection and distribution of vital industry information. Job Description: The Booking Assistant will be responsible for managing booking details along with collecting, summarizing and distributing information to Venue Coalition members Responsibilities: • Assist the President and Executive Vice President with research and coordination of events • Work with venue staff to collect, organize and distribute booking information • Maintain spreadsheets, calendars and information databases • Build talent offers and budgets for event performances • Manage venue ticket counts and organize venue availability calendars • Coordinate meetings and conference calls • Prepare agendas for meetings and conference calls • Coordinate travel and special functions at industry trade shows • Special projects as needed • General office assistance Qualifications: • Excellent written and oral communications skills • Excellent organizational detail skills • Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail • Ability to work effectively under pressure of deadlines • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop • Solid math skills are a plus • Experience in the field (internship ok) • 4 year degree Please submit resume and cover letter to: aprince@venuecoalition The ideal candidate for this position should possess the drive and passion to work hard in the coordination of live events.
