Position: Finance Officer-Grants Management Location: Gauteng, Right to Care offices in Centurion Reporting to: Grants Manager The incumbent will be responsible for the financial accounting for the Grants Management Department. Qualifications & Experience • B Comm or equivalent education- • 5 years financial accounting experience Key Performance Areas among others include: • Contribute to strategic planning of the department. • Budgeting for the department, aligning with company objectives. • Input in Sub recipient budgeting. • Generate quarterly management reports • Manage financial systems support – Internal reporting system-RightMax • Report on the department budget variance • Provide input in policy formulation to streamline grants management financial procedures • Advances to Sub recipients • Prepare a cash flow projection for advances on a monthly basis. • Responsible for payment requisitions for monthly advances. • Design and update advance payment process. • Ad hoc-tasks as per the Grants manager request • Develop and assist with training provided to SR partners • Manage audit files for Sub recipients • Assisting with response to RTC audit of the sub-recipient grants. • Support the Compliance manger with support and internal training and mentoring of Compliance staff. • Participate in recruitment and selection process • Support the Compliance Supervisor in compiling performance plans of subordinates and review according to set objectives. • Train new NGO staff as needed • Administrate Web-register and ESS system for leave and time management.
