Extensive experience and adequate skills-set across Strategic Planning, Finance, Accounts, Taxation and Statutory and other Compliances 2. Extensive and up to date knowledge of all specialized structured Banking Products, involving both Fund and Non-Fund 3. Exemplary communicator with expertise in liaising with Banks/FIs and diverse statutory, govt. and other agencies including RIICO, ROC, Stock Exchanges, RBI, MCA, SEBI, Excise dept., IT dept., other Tax Authorities for any and all purposes 4. Rich experience in spearheading a wide spectrum of hardcore finance & accounts activities encompassing finalization of accounts, budgeting, systems re-engineering and MIS reporting 6. Well versed with Company Law Acts, rules & regulations 7. Thorough understanding and application of Indian GAAP 8. Well developed experience in working on an ERP package Role & Responsibilities: 1. Profitably head the Finance and Accounts department 2. Maintain constant interaction, PR and query answering of Bank officials for ensuring smooth functioning 3. Troubleshooting the finance and accounts team in all areas including Bank Guarantees and Letter of Credits, Banking limits, Stock audits etc. 4. Developing fund-raising strategies for obtaining funds from banks/ financial institutions for organizational functioning & project requirements 5. Directing preparation of financial reports that showcases & anticipate the organizations financial position. 6. Arrange to submit documents such as CMA data, stock statements, PIPR and ratio analysis etc. for Banking and internal purposes 7. Swap high cost bearing funds with low cost bearing funds to cut upon the cost, whenever and wherever needed without losing any time 8. Instantly plan cash discounts from suppliers where opportunity cost of funds are cheaper 9. Supervising all financial activities for exercising optimum financial controls for ensuring proper utilization of money to ensure no leakage of revenue & maximum utilisation of resources 10. Devising accounting policies/procedures & control systems for monitoring financial performance 11. Formulating budgets in tune with organization’s objectives and profitability norms and analyse the deviations at all times for various discussion sessions with the Management 12. Developing and implementing periodical MIS reports for Management and for initiation of strategic decision making 13. Reviewing on the financial viability of new and existing projects and programs 14. Reviewing the actual figures, alleviate variances and amend budgets when necessary 15. Overseeing and Managing the entire accounting functions up to the finalization level for presenting a true and fair view of the financial statements as per the accounting standards 16. Monitoring day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring proper recording of accounting entries and applying checks through reconciliation statements and variance analysis reports through the team 17. Administering the finalization of the financial statements as per Indian GAAP 18. Analysing financial records such as raw material consumption, expenses, income trends and ratio analysis etc. 19. Guide the team, wherever necessary, in Furnishing the Statutory Returns/forms in relation to taxes as per mandatory enactments 20. Represent the organization before legal authorities during the time of assessments/ appeals/petitions etc. and as and when required Major determinants for Selection: 1.
