Position: General Warehouse Associate North Olmsted Ohio Contact Erin Kocab 440-716-8006 or apply careerboard/us/en/mob/job/17C0B14322BB8BED?shid=C47305E2953D149F4C&page=1 Job Description Under general supervision, a General Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate preparation of small key cutting machines, storing, picking, packing, and shipping/receiving of merchandise while meeting facility standards of safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities * Machine setup - calibrating and preparing key machines for shipment. * Label goods for easy storage and retrieval. * Stocking - Move product to forward and secondary storage areas with proper equipment. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in pre-assigned areas according to policy and procedure. * Order Picking - Gather in-stock items ordered by customers while meeting productivity, accuracy, and customer service goals. * Packing - Prepare customer orders for shipment, using all prescribed packaging methods to ensure integrity of shipment. * Customer service/technical support * Safety, Sanitation, Security - Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Regular maintenance duties apply. Must also comply with OSHA standards. * Other Duties - Participate in inventory cycle counting activities; perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repackaging activities as needed along with other duties deemed necessary * Some data entry will be required. Minimum Qualifications * Must be able to pass a Drug Test * Must pass a Background/Reference Check * Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable * Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Experience - Prior experience in a pick and pack warehouse preferred Education Required - High school diploma. Some computer experience is necessary.
