Position: Human Resources Analyst, Temporary Reassignment (Approved Exception) Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Fall - Spring hours) Length of Assignment: Through June 30, 2014 Salary: $1,298.74-$1,375.13 (biweekly) Location: Employee Benefits Department (HR Administration), District Office, 2411 W. 14th Street, Tempe, AZ 85281 Deadline: Friday, July 26, 2013 Job Summary Coordinates and performs a variety of administrative duties at an independent level in the Employee Benefits Department. This position is routinely exposed to highly confidential information and will interact with insurance vendors and employees on a regular basis. Essential Functions 35% - Runs and monitors HRMS reports for benefits department; assists with benefits department procedural documentation; utilizes HRMS and vendor systems to administer benefit programs 35% - Receives and researches employee benefit questions and disseminates information to assist employees; provides information to insurance representatives to resolve claims issues; enters new hire information into HRMS (Oracle); administers Wellness Incentive benefits information; schedules new hires for orientations and determines eligibility 30% - Participates in new employee orientations and annual open enrollment process; advises employees on their coverage options; advises employees and administrators on human resource policies and practices Minimum Qualifications -Experience in human resources administration including employee benefit programs -Experience working with human resource management systems -Experience utilizing word processing and spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel -Experience working with confidential information Desired Qualifications -Experience coordinating new employee orientations and employee benefit open enrollment periods -Experience utilizing Oracle (PeopleSoft) HRMS to administer employee benefit programs -Experience acting as a liaison with insurance vendors If you are interested in this position, please forward your resume to: [email protected] Deadline to apply: Friday, July 26, 2013
