We are currently seeking a Full Time, Centre Coordinator to join the team at Broken Hill YMCA, to lead, develop and grow our operations in the community! Key Responsibilities The Centre Coordinator will be an efficient, well-organised, self driven and motivated person, showing strong commitment to staff development and training. With a background in health and fitness, an emphasis on leadership and motivation in a challenging environment will require excellent communication and presentation skills from the successful candidate. The centre coordinator will have prior experience in creating and delivering new programs and ensuring centre KPI’s are met The ability to perform consistently to ensure the successful ongoing management of YMCA operations will be essential in maintaining and achieving within this role. An understanding of the key success criteria in operating sports stadium’s and multipurpose facilities is essential. The Centre Coordinator function is a support function; Centre Coordinators have line management accountability. YMCA Centre Coordinators are experienced Coordinators, and as part of the Centre Management team, will also be part of the leadership team leading and growing the centre. The Centre Coordinator is to expand the centres operations and be actively involved in community programs and events. Essential •Experience managing people •Health and Fitness Background •Certificate III in Health and Fitness •Effective oral and written communication skills. •Significant industry experience in Community Recreation •Knowledge of Community Recreation •Relevant tertiary qualifications •Senior First Aid Desirable •Demonstrated experience leading and developing staff •Les Mills Certification •Experience in the development and implementation of business development projects •Experience using LINKS and FIXI Software systems •Management Experience in Health Club and Aquatics operations or equivalent YMCA NSW is dedicated to offering rewarding careers with challenging work and many opportunities to learn and grow.
