Position: Manager/ Sr.Manager (Machines Production) 2. Qualification & Experience: • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Experience of around 10 years and above in Machine Manufacturing Industry. • Knowledge of CNC, SS fabrication, laser cutting, anodizing, assembly of machine parts etc. • Experience on dealing with Vendors and Customers. • Adequate knowledge in providing the technical training to engineers & technicians. 3. Key deliverables: He will be Head of Machine Manufacturing Department, responsible for • Production Planning and achieving the production targets • Manpower planning • To communicate with international customers and Overseas/ group Company associates. • Ensure productivity improvement, reduce rejections and rework. • Improve overall quality and direct pass. • Planning for preventive maintenance • Raw Material Purchase (To be shifted to Commercial from Oct ’12)) • Vendor and Sub-contracting (To be shifted to Commercial from Oct ‘12) • Packing and Forwarding (To be shifted to Commercial from Oct ‘12) 3(a). Technical Competencies: • Strong Analytical skills • Technically competent and proficient at engineering concepts. • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies / tools. • Well versed with productivity & quality improvement concepts. • Good Business Understanding ( we are not using the word ‘acumen’ here.) • Excellent written & verbal communication skills • Working knowledge of MS office applications and SAP Production Modules. • Familiarity with concepts like 5S, Kaizen, TQM etc. 3(b). Job Location: • Will be based at the Manufacturing Plant at Boisar Tarapur MIDC. • Boisar is 85 Kilometers from Mumbai and is at 1.5 hrs Journey by train from Borivali Station or by road via Western Express Highway. (Nearest Station is Boisar) • Western Railway is planning to start local trains beyond Virar up to Dahanu. Local trains with Mumbai will then connect Boisar. This service is expected to be operational in next one year. • Company has Guesthouse with a cook for singles. 5. Compensation: • The compensation will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the Candidate. • The candidate is required to be based at Boisar. Company has a housing complex near Boisar station. Semi furnished flat can be provided if required at a nominal rent. The housing complex is 3 km. from the company. 6. Future Prospects: • The Company has spacious building & facilities and a large open land for future expansion. • Opportunity to participate in conversion to SAP with assistance of our Corporate IT team within 1 year of joining. • Direct interaction with our overseas offices, quarterly meeting with Directors, meeting with other Group Companies Mangers etc. 7.
