Position: Program Analyst, Training Location: Naval Amphibious Base Coronado San Diego, CA. Summary of Position: K2 Solutions Inc. seeks a Program Analyst with extensive subject matter and training experience in the design, development, evaluation, and execution of training programs and related functions. Possesses extensive knowledge and experience in development of Federal, to include DoD, state and local training and exercise requirements. Analyzes the program/project requirements and works closely with the client to assess and identify and develop course material required using current instruction methodologies, multimedia, and curriculum design tools and capabilities Required Qualifications: • Naval experience in training operations and management • Ability to prepare written and verbal briefs and prepare presentations using Microsoft Office for the commanding officer in charge. • Expertise in Navy Systems and databases to include: FLTMPS, CMS, TOPS, NRRM, and NROWS. • In-depth knowledge of Reserve Unit Assignment Documents (RUAD). • In depth knowledge of Expeditionary Required Operational Capabilities/Projected Operational Environment documents (ROC/POE) with emphasis on Construction Battalion mission and operations. • In-depth knowledge and experience in the activation and mobilization of Selected Reserve Personnel. • Expertise in drafting and executing Reserve orders for Annual Training. • Ability to communicate clearly by verbal and written means, prepare and present briefings, writing plans, instructions, procedures, and correspondence. • Ability to work individually at work station, in group meetings, and in conjunction with other employees at their work stations • Ability to walk, stand, stair climb, bend and be capable of sitting and typing at a computer in an office environment. • Ability to apply tact, diplomacy, and self- control when working under stressful peak workload periods, or when confronted with complicated problems Specific Qualifications: • Secret level DoD personnel security clearance • B.S. degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience. • Valid California Driver’s License • Ability to infrequently lift items weighing up to 40lbs • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office products Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this employment classification.
