Position Title: Project Leader - Pharmaceutical Supply Chain (TE ID: 02018641) Location: Loc: Midwest, UU Job Type: Direct Hire Years Exp: 3-15 Commercial Project Leader, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain (Industry: Pharmaceutical) - $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 Ideal candidate: Engineer with MBA degree, experience in a Pharmaceutical Contracting Manufacturing Organization (CMO) Experience taking a product from start to finish within a pharmaceutical facility. Helpful to have SAP. Incorporating demand planning, forecast management & POs. The winning candidate in other words could have been titled an Account Manager for their own brand products as well as products for their CMO division. They will be the 1st point of contact with clients. Additional info: Manage external demand initiatives related to customer requirements. Ensure proper planning, scheduling occurs to meet these requirements. Maintain communications and good customer relations. Manage external customer Purchase Orders (PO) against forecast Ensure required Service Level (on-time product delivery) Manage customer forecast against contractual requirements Perform as lead SCM contact to the corresponding customer SCM contact. Provide forecast information to PS Controlling to manage EBIT and revenue projections. Integrate with business side departments which include Credit & Collections, Demand Management and Customer Service to insure internal departmental needs are met Support line extension activities associated with external customer needs. Effectively communicate project status of all team activities to team members and customers on a regular and timely basis. Represent business unit as a team member on multi-divisional projects and maintain a network for reporting and gathering information. Manage commercial requirements (revenue) up to $7.5MM per year. Degree - 5 years’ experience working in a Supply Chain Management environment required. Experience in pricing and feasibility evaluations, supporting of planning in a contract manufacturing setting, as well as acting as a single point of contact with external customers. Working knowledge of various regulatory agencies including FDA, EU, DEA, OSHA, DOT and EPA Six Sigma Training Experience in SAP demand planning, forecast management and PO handling is preferred.ERP System Implementation knowledge preferred. Knowledge of Distribution of goods in pharmaceutical environment. Import/Export of goods in pharmaceutical environment knowledge. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
