Positivity Challenge Day 7...... I am grateful that being positive is a trait that I get down with. Ones attitude can have a powerful effect on ones day and overall well-being :) Im also grateful that finding things to be grateful for wasnt really a challenge at all, I have so many blessings in my life. However, writing these out have raised some questions that I need to ask myself, questions that I have thought about a couple times these last few years. I say Im grateful for my family and friends but am I making an effort to feed those relationships and take interest in those I love? I say Im grateful for my job but am I being a dedicated and hard worker? I say Im grateful for the beginnings of a relationship with God but am I cultivating that relationship too? And (this is a big one) I say Im grateful for the program of AA but am I giving back to others what was so freely given to me? The answer to most these questions is not as well as I could. And Im grateful I get to see that and want to make an effort to change it. I am definitely beginning to understand that, while its great to identify the things I am grateful for, I gotta back those words up with some action ;) Much love.
