Possible Reasons Why Im Sick Today 1. Ogling a religious former co-worker to such a degree that someone up there noticed and put a rush order on some holy fire and smite. 2. Making my ex-wife a mix CD--for the first time since the divorce--to guide her through a break-up with someone who has entirely too much hair. My initial plan was to just throw a bunch of songs on there--like a See how much I dont care, [B word]??? But when it comes to music, I really do care. Id take the time to find the perfect flow for my worst enemy WHILE he was punching me in the gut. Three hours later, it was indeed a stellar mix. I even drew a smiley face on the disc in her favorite color. Im too dizzy to find out if this is karma, but this act of musical kindness has to have something to do with why Im laying flat on my back and moaning. 3. Short of a hellish concoction of all three, the most likely reason in reality is that theres this weird thing I do when someone around me is sick or coughing. My brain tells me, Hey bud, time for a prolonged yawn that you cant stop, and I take in all the surrounding germs.
