Possible light at the end of the tunnel...dr Bryan can to visit Mama and Uncle Dewey today and said that he believes the issue is Uncle Deweys cholesterol meds. (We didnt even know he was on cholesterol medicine). Apparently a possible side effect made all of the fluid in his muscle tissues draw into his bloodstream. Thats why he cant walk or move his legs. Dr B has ordered physical therapy and will see how that goes. He said that catching it as early as we did was amazing bc most cases where this happens, it is discovered too late. This condition is usually deadly. We are not sure exactly what his prognosis is bc most ppl dont catch this in time to survive it. We are not out of the woods yet, and many things remain uncertain, but Uncle Dewey is hanging tough for the moment. We are praising God for this miracle and praying that He continue His healing process.
