BIBLE VERSE 2 (pahabol, no internet connection yesterday promise LOL) 1 John 3:1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! Bro.Bos INSIGHT: This is the kind of Father He has for you: He lavished His love on you. Lavish means excessive and extravagant. Almost wasteful. Without measure. When He gave His love to you, He didnt use a cup or a dipper or even a pail to give us His love. He just let His love pour down upon you like a raging waterfall. It pours on you 24 hours a day. Source: 2011 Holy Week Retreat by Bo Sanchez and his team of preachers. MY OWN INSIGHT: I remember, I started attending Nestle cooking demos (held at Rockwell, Makati, once a month) December 2007. The first cooking topic I attended was about CAKES, Chef Imelda Go was the featured chef. I tried 3 recipes from the recipe lists.....FROZEN BRAZO DE MERCEDES; NO BAKE BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE; & PANDAN CAKE. I would strictly (sort of) follow the recipe and spent lavishly on the ingredients. Cream, ice cream, blueberries in can, fresh pandan (nyeh) , etc etc. Sometimes, to my dismay....people around me dont understand and appreciate what Im doing. Ate Vicky told me, you shouldnt have done that anymore...or my Mommy will tell me...why do you have to do this or that recipe....you can just buy simpler desserts or appetizers. Bakit yang mga sosyal pa na recipes? I will cry in secret (asus!!) but they may be just nahihiya or embarrassed because 88% naman nauubos and they will really say ang sarap nito ha! (at times its as if im committing sin or im doing bad...haha...) that delicious! #delicioso I can imagine Gods love for us or me. If I can spend thousands of pesos on simple recipes..and not so simple recipes (such as brownies?) how much more can He give on us? Sometimes you just ask for a burger....and you get a BUCKET MEAL!!!
