Post #61.This is from my small journal.Its Jan 23,2004.Here I sit and I am feeling sorry for myself. I just have to be better soon.Dale and me get ready for doctors appointment.I get dressed and we head to SLO. My nerves are edgy.We dont know how my infection is but we are going to find out soon.My No emotion doctor sees me and there I see a smile.He shakes Dales hand and we head in.He examines me and for the first time in 2 months plus..I see a break through.He pulls me up and finally says those words we both need to hear. Penny..You are finally healing! I am going to cut back on your antibiotic and see if we can go to every 3 days for the nurses. It was like we hit the lottery.We are like 2 kids after Christmas.I get this burst of energy and Dale kisses my forehead and we head out.Dale had planned to take me to Shell Beach and have lunch on the benches down from his childhood house regardless of the news but this seems more special then I could ever imagine.I couldnt really go outside much so this memory stays with me alot.We talk and laugh and Dale and me bask in the sun and eat our sandwiches.Penny is ready to heal and my nightmare is almost over.Penny will post #62 soon...Happy Friday everyone!!! Cafe busy..crew had a great holiday and now we are headed to 2015..
