Post 9: Today we met with Dr Fearon in Dallas TX. Poor guy. We were there from 2pm to 4pm. Backed up his entire waiting room. Overall its been a very long day. Eddie lost our luggage in NY. So we had to buy new clothes when we got here. Two hours sleep and not great news. I was hoping for him to say that shes fine. Miracles happen but not today. He also agreed with Dr. Staffenburg that she does indeed have Bicoronal Craniosynostosis. He showed us her cat scans and with sutures fused and answered a notebook of questions while on tape. So basically the bad news is this isnt a one time fix. He does way more surgeries than any other doctor (for craniosynostosis) and has completed a large amount of studies and published them. This is his thing. His opinion is that she will need surgery around 11 months and again at 5 years old, worst case scenario as a teen too. So long story short. Im going to bed. Will process all of this tomorrow. But I guess its better than the other doctor not saying anything and then having to operate again. We are seeing two more doctors this month too.
