~ Post GE13, Najib remained lame as a plucked duck ~ Excerpt: ~ The then Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi wanted to improve the image of the police force but did not have the political will to take on and defeat special interest groups within the police - groups which warned the government that the IPCMC would result in sagging morale of police personnel. Never mind what the country or Malaysians wanted. Abdullah backed off and the IPCMC proposal collected dust. ~ The Observer sez: Is Najib any different from Badawi? Perhaps, with BN performing worse overall than his predecessor in a general election, Najib now grabs the last straw in his basket of publicity tricks i.e. saving his own skin at the UMNO Baru AGM due later this year since his own party IMPROVED its standing for parliamentary seats (For this, we can thank ABU). In other words - exit 1Malaysia, enter 1Melayu. Meanwhile, the nation can go down in flames, economically as well as social security, because Najib lacks the spine to fulfill his duty as PM to all Malaysians.
