Post Op clinic day! They continue to be blown away by how quickly she recovered in the hospital. She still has some junk in her left lung(the one that collapsed) so they gave her a spirometer to try and strengthen her lungs/cough. She has a low grade fever so watching that closely to be sure we dont develop pneumonia. Incision in healing well and she got the stitches out if her chest tube incision. She lost about 3# and her appetite has not been great. Her declaring that she is a veterinarian(she meant vegetarian, lol) is not helping the push for protein, but we can figure that out. Still not cleared to start school at all, but maybe in another week or two. We cant wait til the 8th when she gets her echo and we can start to determine how things have changed!
