Post Processing is an important integral part of digital - TopicsExpress

Post Processing is an important integral part of digital photography. There is no correct answer to questions such as - is post processing good or bad? It all depends on the photographer on what he wants to achieve. In this case the Leopard was totally against the light and I had to over expose it to get the details in the Leopard. In post processing I used the RAW adjustments of exposure, contrast, blacks, highlights, Shadow and the adjustments of levels / sharpness in photoshop. I am happy that I was able to correct the image and get what I wanted. This is not manipulation. Is PP correct or wrong is a never ending debate in the digital world...so I will not discuss that. But if you want to learn the art of correcting images to get what you want, then I would highly recommend my online webinar on 6th Jan at 7pm. I will be teaching the core concepts of processing RAW images using Adobe Camera RAW and final processing of image using photoshop. For details on the course content and registration, please visit: learn.sudhirshivaram/product/details/201/fundamentals-of-post-processing---january You will get access to the webinar video for 30 days so that you can practice on your own and implement the learnings. hmmm...just for the info...what are your thoughts on post processing? Would be interesting to hear your inputs.... btw, which of the two images you like? The processed one or the unprocessed? Feel free to share and comment!
