Post by Marie: As you know, Walter worked through his illness making the album that will be released in June. He put his experience and feelings uncensored into the lyrics and the playing even as his body became weaker. The first reviews are starting to come in, and today over a nice Easter lunch I could read this one to him. The reviewer gives 10 out of 10 stars and states: The award of 10/10 for this record in no way reflects Walter’s ill health. It is not a charity vote. It is warranted. A 21st century blues album from a genuinely honest, caring, compassionate man who is a frigging awesome guitar player and singer to boot. Those years of hard living have taken their toll on his body, but it aint stopped him yet. Long may that be the case. See you soon WT, back on stage where you belong. I can tell you that it made his day!
