Post from Mel Hawkins - I have sat back, listened and watched whats going on but I am not shutting up anymore!! I find absolutely ridiculous that boys high is getting all this media coverage and now its on the bloody national news! Come on people there is bullying everywhere and really, is this the worst school in Oamaru for bullying not as far as I am concerned!! Parents need to stop being so sensitive making complaints anytime something happens teach your kids the tools to deal with it all my 4 kids have been bullied through school only once have I been to defend one of my children the rest have dealt with it!!! My youngest is going to boys high in 2016 not st Kevins like the other 3 why because they have more to offer boys!! And all the young fellows from boys high that have worked with me are respectful hard working and they have great pride in their school! I say this been blown right out of proportion and now getting beyond a joke!! So to those that are intent on killing waitaki boys reputations good luck cause there are a hell of lot us out here that support this wonderful school!!
