Post from Member: hi, everyone. im writing to this whole group. this is information for you all. this may not be of help to some but, will be of help to many. my son is a brain injury survivor. his injury was not caused by a car accident, nor any other type that car ins would pay for his continued care. but, i called the govenors office, and the state senotor, and they helped me with a medical grant because i showed them my son was in there, and that he was rehabable. if you do not get the help you need and your loved one does not have ins to back them up with finances please seek help with your state for dissabled indavidulas. you will need to go and file for dissability for your loved one. emediatly. and get them on medicade also. even if u have private ins. they qualify for medicade also. here in michigan they have summit point/behavioral health. start a case with the correct office to help you acheive your loved ones needs. they will help provide nursing staff, and care givers that you will need. now ,for those of you who do have ins that pays. there are places you can contact. my son went to rescare premiere in milan michigan, they have several locations. there is also another place called eisenhower center. there are also other brain injury rehabs and inpatient living while they rehab them. please do not give up. there is help for them. if u have any questions and need some support or maybe i could assit u in finding a place to help you. please message me. god bless you all.
