Post from a fellow friend I died today when the judge ordered me to pay my 3x abuser/ previously incarcerated ex husband with over $3K in retro child support and $300 /mo ongoing. I was hospitalized at his hands... My body will never be the same. He kept her from me for over 45 days without court order, switched her school without notice, lied about his household income... I still have debts from our marriage he never paid, therapy bills for our daughter, lawyers fees to fight for our daughter, minors attorneys fees, and court fees. I live in a tiny 120sqft travel trailer in the country no pets, no cable, no internet, and not much food. I drive a 20 year old car which gets crap had mileage and requires frequent large repairs due to my daily commute/ the cars age. I suffer daily from PTSD, bad shoulder and broken coccyx all from him. He lives in luxury in a hardwood floored, $2k/mo townhouse he shares with his fiancee (dual income), his parents pay for everything for our daughter, his parents gave him two cars, he has two dogs, Comcast, credit cards, money enough to take my kid to Florida vacations at Disneyland, has no commute to work, and gets to claim my daughter for food stamps, MediCal, and tax breaks. I cant qualify for low income housing, MediCal, tab break without being able to claim my daughter. I always ask for more time since I went into homelessness after my abuse and finally got back on my feet. He stopped taking my daughter to the therapist, and the judge didnt want to increase time without therapists evaluation. Even losing my job or claiming bankruptcy wont help. We promised each other me wed never ask for more than 50/50, and wed never file for child support. Hes been arrested and convicted twice. I have clean record, even interned with police departments. I have fought for over 9 years with little success. I want to die.
