Post from member: An incognito post to everyone. ..The entire time that I was cognizant enough to realize I was different from what I remembered, I could think of only one thing: work to be you again.. For half a decade I worked & strived toward being me again.. ..I mustve done well because I carry myself verbally as well as physically in spite of leaving precious grey matter behind on the pavement, as well as near physical mutilation. No one sees this, or more to the point.. wants to acknowledge this in the face of this athletic young mans frame.. All those years wishing to be normal once more has come at a cost. . Yes I look & act like one with a full deck, yet TBI still lurks beneath this light grey surface. It IS a little more perplexing/shocking when these lips wax impulsive verbage.. Surfaces or books covers may not show what lies beneath.. Please do not judge me..
