Post from member: I would like to share an experience we have had with my son who had a brain injury in October 2013. For the last year he has been in speech therapy and horse therapy to help him gain back his lost speech and muscle tone in his upper body. Along with his head injury he started having seizures in February 2014. The neurologist completely feels the seizures are related to the injury. After 13 months of speech therapy he was not improving or being able to retain the new information he was given at a pace the therapist thought he should be improving at. In December 2014 we had further neurological testing done the results were that his working memory was on the level of a normal 6 year old but his processing speed was only at a child of 2 years 8 months. A huge difference. The doctor who did the testing new that we use essential oils for my 9yr olds ADHD. He asked if we would be willing to use that same oil on my 4yr old to try and slow down his working memory to see if there is a difference on his therapy progress. The results are that since doing that 1 month later he has now passed off his f and s sounds and is almost passed off his c sounds completely he still struggles with c at the beginning of a word. But now we are working on the g sound whole continuing the progress with c. This us amazing progress when he was showing the opposite in progress before we started the experiment with using the ADHD essential oils blend.
