Post op day 55 ~ Courtney is getting stronger every day! She does 4 walks around the unit each day and she is no longer using her walker, at least not on short distances!! ;) She still gets quite winded and out of breath but thats due to a lack of endurance rather than her heart like it had been prior to surgery. She will start cardiac rehab soon and that will help build back up her endurance. They are talking about possible discharge to the Transplant House tomorrow! We are super excited!!! We will know more after morning rounds tomorrow. I can not believe it has been almost 2 months since transplant! A lot has happened in the last 55 days but Courtneys recovery has been remarkable! God surely has had His arms wrapped around her the entire time. Thank you everyone for all your support and for all your prayers!
