Posted By shuhayb this year ,when i came from uni holidays, me and my cousins went to KFC port-louis after namaz tarawee during ramadhan (we heard rumors abt it non being halal at that time ) but we really fancied kfc after long time spending abroad as difficult to find halal in europe and also taste is different from mru.so we were queuing (KFC Port-louis, next to the catedrale and la court ) up and there were loads of Muslim family in the line and me and my cusins were discussing whether we should ask for halal certificate or not? then me i wanted to be 100% guarantee , so i went to one of the employee and ask them if i can have a look at the halal certificate. the employee seems lost and then she went back in the kitchen and came to me 1 min after and told me yes it is halal dont worry and the manager herself also is muslim and then i told her , im very happy she is muslim but i would like to see the certificate and she goes back in kitchen and come back and tell me that many muslims eat here and the manager tell you trust her she is muslim!!!! There WERE NO HALAL CERTIFICATE!! even on the wall ! and when we didnt get what we were looking for, we decided to leave withoit any kfc and the most sad part is , all those muslim families heard everything that was going on abt the cerfiticate issue and NON of them left and made as if they didnt hear anything or understand!! Really Really sad for mauritian muslim to behave this way !! Feed yourself to live!! Do not live yourself for food! Dnt put urself into difficulties because cannot resist good food but Fear ALLAH! May ALLAH give us all Hidayah! Ameen
