Posted by Karen... Another Monday, another sibling meltdown. Me and my NT girl were in the garden for two hours starting our springclean of said garden. She picked up one of our kitties Jasmine who heard a really loud noise and it made her jump. She slid down my girls back leaving a mark. Five mins later, bathed and with some antiseptic cream applied I popped to the bathroom. Mistake. My boy had come up from his basement bedroom and they met in the downstairs hallway. Crash. Bang. Wallop. Scream. Dont ask where my underwear was as I ran from the upstairs bathroom to get between them. She went hysterical because every time it happens it goes a little bit deeper. My boy now eating his dinner and has screamed sorry. But it didnt feel like sorry. Im actually shaking inside because Im not yet over the meltdowns on the preceding Mondays. My boy is in Utopia, Swalcliffe Park School, but proverbially, Rome wasnt built in a day, so Im not expected sibling miracles just yet either. Thanks for listening. All virtual hugs welcome... xxx
