How old would I be? Would I be younger, but then I think about Ernestine Shepherd, whos 77 and inspiring thousands of people to get healthy and strong. Then theres Erv from BoMF who just ran his first Half Marathon at 53 or Roderick, whos 46, going to school full time, working and running marathons just cause! Then theres BGR, Tonya, Nikia, Monica, Lisa and Neali, Darlene, Amanda, Randi and so many more that keep me feeling young. Then theres Emily, my trainer, that doesnt modify things for my age, but encourages me to push further than I thought was possible. My neighborhood crew, who are some of my biggest fans. And, Alex, who makes my feel beautiful everyday, even when I look and act like a crazy old lady! So, I would say Im 51 because I want to inspire younger and emulate older.
