Posted long ago (sorry, Karin), but...from an explanation of Borderline Personality Disorder: People with BPD feel emotions more easily, more deeply and for longer than others do. Emotions may repeatedly resurge and persist a long time. Consequently it may take longer than normal for people with BPD to return to a stable emotional baseline following an intense emotional experience. In Marsha Linehans view the sensitivity, intensity and duration with which people with BPD feel emotions have both positive and negative effects. People with BPD are often exceptionally idealistic, joyful and loving. However they may feel overwhelmed by negative emotions, experiencing intense grief instead of sadness, shame and humiliation instead of mild embarrassment, rage instead of annoyance and panic instead of nervousness. Well. I hope that at least some of you like the tune and are charmed by how young these people, the oldest new band in America at the time, look in these pictures...I needed a reminder today of Something Else, that I will stay Forever Young as long as I accept my borderline personality as a person proudly across every borderline, a person whose epitaph will read, Always on the outside of whatever side there was, as long as I accept that grief, shame, rage, and panic are not bigger than I am, but are the price I pay - and you may say Im borderline, but Im not the only one - the price I pay for everything that is love. If you dont mind happiness...purple pleasure fields in the sun... Thankyou, Paul Kantner. The fields and their Summer are waiting - and if, after I walk them again, I still need to do some Nightswimming - so be it. Its also the most friendly breakup song ever.
