Posted to my community page..but everyone reading....please do the same.Thank you..it could be your mom or dad! *****Yesterday sitting at the light on Railroad and 9w heading towards Stony Point I see an elderly woman walking with heavy bags.... She had to keep stopping and putting the bags down I could tell she was having a hard time..... It was early afternoon and it was drizzling...I couldnt wait for the light to change to go and help her and I did.....She lived very close to where we were but still..every little bit helped...I asked her if she had any help and she said...I dont like to bother anyone... Sweetest little lady...... Has two sons that live locally and a grandson lives with her and shes walking carrying heavy packages with bad knees in the rain?? I know some want to keep their independence but I asked her if it was hard on her and she said yes!! I got her # and will be taking her shopping from now on..Ive asked this before..but if you see elderly people walking in the heat or rain or cold or anytime..please..stop and pick them up..I cant always do that but whenever I can....I do..Yes it takes a village.
