Posted112014 from Charleston Gazette: Anna Mae Bell Roberts, of Houston, TX, formerly of Yawkey, WV, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the age of 87.She was born August 28, 1927 to the late Carl Bell and Marie Elswick Bell of Clendenin, WV. Although Anna Mae worked for Columbia Gas early in life, she became a lifelong homemaker after the birth of her son, dedicating herself to her late husband, Lawrence Roberts, and son, Kevin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alta Faye Bell Harmon and Rosalie Bell Shirley, and one brother, Carl Lester Bell.She is survived by her son, Kevin Roberts and wife Doris Diaz of Houston, Texas; grandson, Byron Roberts and wife Penelope of Wellston, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Tucker and Aspen Roberts, also of Wellston, Ohio.A private viewing will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, November 20, at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster, Texas, with cremation to follow
