Posting again, as it is so important. **PLEASE STOP TO READ THIS** Okay, fellow liberals, time to get real and time to move into action. We need to step up and act like the compassionate, caring people that we are. Today food stamps are being cut to 48 millions of our fellow Americans and we can no longer sit by idly. We need to actually do something to help these mothers, children, veterans, and working poor. As soon as you stop reading this, walk to your kitchen and pull out five items that you can spare (more is great as well!). All I am asking for is five items. We have 13,843 fans of this page, which will translate to nearly 70,000 food items. Because I know many of you can do more, we will likely top this. And if you are a recipient of aid, know that we have your back. I will research to find a database of food depositories (see elsewhere on this page), but you can also simply call your local church and tell them you want to give. Please, I beg of you to step up and do the right thing. Kindly also share this on your own page.
