Posting of the day: The world has admitted that the development plans and programs after world war II till 1990s were in the wrong way (with the fact that the monitoring done in 1990s the number of poor people has increased even we have lots of programs and development partners at all levels) that must have changed as they have done in 2000 to what we have called "Millennium Development Goals". There were 8 goals for the whole world while Cambodia has had 9 goals. It was clear that those 8 or 9 goals have not said that each country need to change the leadership for being able to achieve those goals. Cambodia was in the top 15 countries that have succeeded in achieving those goals set for 2015. Those 9 goals are: 1 - Eradicate extreme hunger and poverty 2 - Achieve universal primary education 3 - Promote gender equality and empower women 4 - Reduce child mortality 5 - Improve maternal health 6 - Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases 7 - Ensure environmental sustainability 8 - Develop a global partnership for development 9 - De-mining, removing Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) and Victim Assistance.
