Posting on behalf of Caroline House: Seaside Sprint to benefit Caroline House - June 8, 2014 Come and join the fastest and safest triathlon course in CT for the fifth edition of the Trifitness Seaside Sprint. Right in Seaside Park in Bridgeport CT, this course is flat and closed to traffic. Not a swimmer? We are adding a duathlon distance to the race this year! Perfect for beginners and seasoned athletes, this race will set your calendar for a perfect first race of the season. Race starts at 6:30 a.m. and there is a FREE FUN RACE for children under 12 at 9:00 a.m. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Caroline House of Bridgeport. Caroline House is a nondenominational center for economically disadvantaged women and children located at 574 Stillman Street in Bridgeport. The center was founded in 1995 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. The Caroline House mission statement is: To enable women and children to reach the fullness of their potential through education in English language and life skills.
