Posting this as an FYI to any potential buyers (screenshots attached): Mindy J Comeau is selling her collection in the group Ball Pythons- forum and classifieds. There was a big debate over the weekend regarding a post she made the other day about IBD, where she claimed that one of her snakes died last summer from IBD, yet the snakes she had in contact with it are still just fine now a year later. According to Mindy, it lost significant weight and had neurological symptoms. Witnesses that were followers on her Instagram and part of her group stated she had videos of it spinning and spiraling. When asked how she knew it had IBD, Mindy stated she did NOT have a necropsy done but the vendor she bought it from lost a lot of their collection to IBD. So, Mindy had a snake die from what she thought to be IBD but had no testing done at all to confirm it, nor rule out other known viruses or neurological conditions. Per witnesses, she continued buying new snakes less than a month later and posting pictures of them together with her current existing snakes -- including Dexter, the snake that lived in the same cage with Layla, the one that died from suspected IBD. Now she is selling her collection. Proceed with caution, and draw your own conclusions.
